Here is an introduction of Oval Manways: Oval manways, commonly inner-opening manways(kind of cover plate with built-in manways), it is a self-tightening seal, and no need for too much bolt force. If the opening position is quite cramped, cover plate of conventional round manways is too big to use, then we can use inner- opening manways. As an inner opening type of cover, oval manways are supplemented with a sealing gasket inside(good sealing) and can be placed inside the tank and installed easily only by rotating the cover by 90 degrees.
